Intermediate & Advanced Violin Programs

Designed for violinists who want to elevate their performance skills and succeed in auditions—whether for a school orchestra, a professional symphony, or college music program applications. Our structured lessons focus on technique, musicianship, repertoire selection, and audition preparation. We also emphasize smart, efficient practicing and address health and wellness topics that support healthy, sustainable string playing. If you’re working toward a specific goal—such as a competition, upcoming audition, or collegiate program—we’ll tailor each session to strengthen your weak spots and highlight your musical strengths.

Typical Lesson Structure:

Warm-up exercises to refine bowing, intonation, and shifting.
Repertoire work, focusing on phrasing, dynamics, and stylistic interpretation.
Etudes or technical drills to boost agility, speed, and tone production.
Audition/performance simulations where you run your pieces as if “on stage.”

Whether you’re working toward a high school orchestra audition or preparing for professional symphony tryouts, our flexible and goal-oriented curriculum ensures you’re fully equipped for success.

Beginner Violin Program

We welcome aspiring beginners who are eager to start their journey on the violin. Our Beginner Violin Program includes a free trial lesson to help you or your child get a feel for our teaching style and the online format. If you choose to continue, we require an advance payment for one of the following lesson plans:

Four 1-hour lessons (total 4 hours of instruction).
Four 45-minute lessons (total 2.5 hours of instruction).
Four 30-minute lessons (total 2 hours of instruction).

This structure helps us ensure consistency in practice and progress, especially for new learners. Whether you’re a child or an adult picking up the violin for the first time, we’ll establish a strong technical foundation and nurture your enthusiasm for music.
